IDP Australian Education Fair – March 2018

On Saturday the 10th of March and Sunday the 11th of March, VGAC joined IDP Australia Education Fair 2018 as Australian alumni to share experiences in studying and living in Australia to prospective students.
The education fair was held at Rex Hotel in HCMC and at Lotte Hotel in Hanoi with more than 60 Australian institutions and universities.
VGAC representatives were on the main stage providing 20-minute sharing panel. The audiences had the opportunity to hear great sharing of Australian Alumni’s experience in how to gain life experience while studying in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. After the session, VGAC representatives continued welcoming students at their booth for further sharing.

About VGAC representatives joining IDP Australia Education Fair 2018:

KHÁNH DUY
Duy holds a Master degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland. He has won multiple prizes and awards during his studying at National Economics University. In 2012, Duy received Dean’s Honor Roll 2012 Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence from the University of Queensland. He is currently working as Senior Analyst at HSBC.

DIỆU ANH
Dieu Anh holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours of Environmental Science at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia. During her study at Griffith University, she was a very active mentor, supporting students on various courses. She won an award of “Mentor of the year” in 2011. She was also granted a scholarship from Australia Rivers Institute, Griffith University for an excellent research.

THẾ LÂN
Lan Dang holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Information Systems at Central Queensland University, Australia. During his study at Central Queensland University, he used to work in specialty cafes in Melbourne, making amazing coffee and latte arts at Sensory Lab, St Ali …. He came third place in Southern Region Latte Art Championship in 2013. Lan Dang returned to Vietnam after six years of studying and working in Melbourne as a assistant business analyst and coffee trainer. Now he is running The Lovely Cup Of Coffee Training Center to provide barista training to students who want to find a part-time job during their stay in Australia and other countries oversea.

ĐĂNG KHOA
Khoa graduated from University of Technology, Sydney with Master of Information & Technology in 2014. During his time in Sydney, Khoa played an active role as a leader of Vietnamese Dynamic Student in New South Wales (VDS). Since returning to Vietnam, Khoa has been working at SMC Trading Investment JSC. Khoa’s objective is to engage young and newly return alumni to join the alumni network in Vietnam.

HOÀNG LINH
Linh holds a Bachelor degree of Visual Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master degree of PR & Advertising from the University of New South Wales. Upon returning to Vietnam, Linh joined Truong Hai Auto as a Creative Assistant in a project for 4 months. He’s now working offshore as a Graphic Designer and is part of the Marketing team of Cleanaway Australia, a leading waste management, recycling and industrial services company.
