VGAC joined IDP at Australia Education Fair 2017

On Sunday the 16th of July, VGAC is proud to join IDP Australia Education Fair 2017 as Australian Alumni to share experiences in studying and living in Australia to prospective students.
The education fair was held at GEM Centre in District 1, HCMC. More than 50 Australian institutions and universities were present at the event.

VGAC joined IDP at Australia Education Fair 2017Apart from the usual sharing booth at the event, VGAC representatives were on the main stage providing 45-minute sharing session. The audiences had the opportunity to hear great sharing of Australian Alumni’s experience in how to gain life experience while studying in Australia. After the session, VGAC representatives continued welcoming students for further sharing.

HẢI ANH
Hai Anh holds a Bachelor degree of Commerce, majoring in Accounting from Australian Catholic University. After 4 years in Australia, Hai Anh has returned to Vietnam and is currently working as Store Manager at a branch of The Warehouse. The Warehouse is the exclusive distributor in Indochina of over 800 wines from renowned wineries from 14 countries.

ANH THƯ
Thu completed her study in New Zealand before coming to Sydney, Australia to continue her further study. She has received a Master degree of Commerce, majoring in Marketing from the University of New South Wales. Thu is currently working at one of the companies providing the world’s fastest-growing online hotel platforms.

HOÀNG LINH
Linh holds a Bachelor degree of Visual Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master degree of PR & Advertising from the University of New South Wales. Upon returning to Vietnam, Linh joined Truong Hai Auto as a Creative Assistant in a project for 4 months. He’s now working offshore as a Graphic Designer and is part of the Marketing team of Cleanaway Australia, a leading waste management, recycling and industrial services company.

As one of the pre-event activities, VGAC Committee Members from HCMC Chapter were invited to a short interview sharing experience in getting part time jobs during study time in Australia. The interview was recorded at IDP HCMC office in July, 2017.
