VGAC has a tradition of hosting exciting and remarkable Gala Dinner annually which is a good occasion for all Australian Alumni in Vietnam to reunite and build connection with one another, especially with other representatives from Australian Government, Businesses and Universities. VGAC hosted 2 Gala on Friday, November 6th, 2015 in Hanoi and on Sunday November 8th, 2015 in HCMC. The Gala dinners have reminded VGAC members of their dreams and unforgettable moments during their time in Australia and led them to a brighter future.

The Gala in Hanoi had the presence of the following honour guests:
• Ms Nadia Krivetz – Counsellor, Political Engagement and Public Diplomacy, Australian Embassy
• Ms Kim Cleary – Counselor Education and Science, Australian Embassy
• Mr Nick Bally – First Secretary, Political Section, Australian Embassy
• Professor Tran Van Nhung – President, Vietnam – Australia Friendship Association
• Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Hùng – Secretary General, Vietnam – Australia Friendship Association
• Dr Graham Alliband – Team Leader, Australia Awards Office

• Ms. Trinh Trinh, Education Manager of Australian Trade Commission
• Mr. Le Hung Quoc, Chairman of the Hochiminh City Union of Friendship Associations
