On 06/2/2018, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnam -Australia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City celebrated the 230th anniversary of Australian Day (26/1/1788 – 26/1/2018). ) and 45 years of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia (26/2/1973 – 26/2/2018).
The ceremony had the presence of Mr. Huynh Minh Thien – President of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh – Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City External Relations Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Karen Lanyon – Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of agencies and agencies.
The representatives of Vietnam’s Graduates from Australia – VGAC in Ho Chi Minh City also attended the celebration and shares their memory of Australia.

Sàng ngày 06/2/2018, Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị TPHCM và Hội hữu nghị Việt Nam – Australia TP.HCM đã tổ chức lễ kỷ niệm 230 năm Quốc khánh Australia (26/1/1788 – 26/1/2018) và 45 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Australia (26/2/1973 – 26/2/2018).
Tham dự buổi lễ có ông Huỳnh Minh Thiện – Chủ tịch Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị TPHCM, ông Trần Phước Anh – Phó Giám đốc Sở Ngoại vụ TPHCM, ông Nguyễn Văn Mạnh – Phó Chủ tịch Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị TPHCM và bà Karen Lanyon – Tổng Lãnh sự Australia tại TPHCM và đại diện các ban ngành, cơ quan.
Đại diện Hội Cựu Du Học Sinh Úc – VGAC tại TP.HCM gồm cũng đến tham dự lễ kỷ niệm và chia sẻ những ký ức về Australia.
