A photo exhibition themed “For our surrounding women – Men’s care and share” was opened by the Ho Chi Minh Department of Culture and Sports and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on November 4, 2017.
The exhibition was organised on Nguyen Hue walking street and featured photos about women’s and men’s actual activities both at home and in community in a bid to raise the public’s awareness on gender equality. 23 wining photos from the “Gender Equality through the Alumni’s Lenses” – Alumni Photography Contest 2015 was displayed at the exhibition.
Ms Au Thi Nguyet Lien, Chairwoman of VGAC – Hue chapter was one of the winners in this contest. Her winning photo delivered the message “Women and men can discuss and express ideas together, why not!”.
Ms. Lien graduated Master of Business in Finance from Victoria University and has joined VGAC since 2007. She was Vice Chairwoman of VGAC – Hue Chapter for the term 2012-2015 and has been elected as Chairwoman of the Chapter for the term 2015-2018. Ms. Lien is currently working at propaganda and support tax policies for taxpayers, tax agents and others.
