On Sunday, the 22nd of October, the Future Journey Co., Ltd. held an Australia Education Fair at Muong Thanh Hotel, in Ca Mau city, Mekong Delta of Vietnam. This was the first time VGAC crew took part in an event in such place, along with other two organizations The Lovely Cup O’ Coffee and PTE Magic.
VGAC team performed an opening traditional dance at the event to demonstrate the extracurricular and social activities of Vietnamese overseas students in Australia. VGAC members also shared their experiences in living, studying and finding jobs to parents and prospective students.
Future Journey is an Education agency established by VGAC members. The head office is located in Ca Mau city and is the first agency on studying abroad in the city.
About VGAC members at the event
Lê Quang holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance at Swinburne University of Technology. After 8 years in Australia, Quang has returned to Vietnam and has started up an educational business in Ca Mau city. He is a CEO of Future Journey Co., Ltd.
Thế Lân graduated from Central Queensland University. With a passion in coffee, Lân has spent his time at coffee shops outside studying time learning the technique in making coffee. He achieved an award of 3rd Southern Region Latte Art. Upon returning to Vietnam, Lân developed Barista training course to help students who want to pursuit their study in Australia preparing for their new journey. Lân is CEO of The Lovely Cup O’ Coffee and a head barista trainer.
Gia Thắng graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2015. He got a score of 90 in PTE, which is equivalent to band-9 in IELTS. Thắng is the founder and CEO of PTE Magic, a company provides PTE training courses for students in both Australia and Vietnam.
Phương Bảo is an RMIT alumnus with a Master Degree in Network and Telecommunications Engineering. Bảo was the President of Melbourne Overseas Vietnamese Students Associations Inc. (MOVSA Inc.) from 2013 to 2014. After finishing his degree in Australia, Bảo returned to Vietnam and has been working as a government official at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications. He is now working on a master plan for developing Ho Chi Minh City towards a smart city.
