Huong Dang – Alumnus of Swinburne University of Technology – has won the Social Entrepreneur award sponsored by Google in Women of the Future Awards South East Asia 2021.
From humble beginning as a street kid, Huong made her way to Melbourne via a scholarship and was honoured as Victoria’s International Student of the Year with a $20,000 scholarship. Huong founded HopeBox Social Enterprise in 2018, with a simple idea and mission: to help rural Vietnamese women who have experienced domestic violence obtain a fresh start. Her aim with HopeBox is not only to provide a shelter but to give these women the tools to live independently and break free from the cycle of abuse.
The Women of the Future Awards were founded in 2006 as a platform to support successful young women in the UK. The Awards has been held in South East Asia since 2018.

Hương Đặng – cựu du học sinh Đại học Swinburne – đã đạt giải thưởng giải thưởng Phụ nữ Tương lai khu vực Đông Nam Á 2021 trong hạng mục Social Entrepreneur (Doanh nhân xã hội) do Google tài trợ.
Từ khởi đầu khiêm tốn là một trẻ em đường phố, chị Hương đã giành học bổng tới Melbourne và được bang Victoria vinh danh là Sinh viên Quốc tế của năm với học bổng trị giá $20,000. Hương thành lập doanh nghiệp xã hội HopeBox vào năm 2018 với mong muốn hỗ trợ những người phụ nữ Việt Nam từng trải qua bạo lực gia đình có được công việc ổn định và thay đổi cuộc sống.
Giải thưởng Phụ nữ Tương lai được khởi xướng lần đầu tiên vào năm 2006 tại Vương Quốc Anh nhằm tôn vinh những phụ nữ truyền cảm hứng và có tầm ảnh hưởng lớn. Bắt đầu từ năm 2018, giải thưởng được tổ chức tại khu vực Đông Nam Á.
